What makes Sherwin Electrical Services LLC. different?

All of our technicians are licensed by the state of Virginia, this is not as common as you might think. A lot of technicians work under the owner's license and do not have a Virginia Journeyman's license.

All of our technicians are Drug screened and background checked for you safety.

Sherwin electrical Services LLC is an upfront price company which means that the price we give you is the price you pay, no surprises if we run into issues that we did not expect. You know the price before work begins. Sherwin Electrical Services guarantees our workmanship for life.

All electrical service upgrades and panel changes have a lifetime warranty on parts and labor.

Sherwin Electrical Services gives back. We have several programs that we run throughout the year, Food drive, shop with a cop for children during the holiday season and before school starts, breast cancer foundation donations in October. Check our website occasionally for the program and detais we are implementing at the time.

History

Sherwin Electrical Services LLC was established in 2005 as a separate entity originating from Sherwin Electric Company, Inc., an industrial electrical contractor established in 1882.

Sherwin Electric Company, Inc. was purchased by Irving Douglas, grandfather of Sherwin Electrical Services LLC owner David Douglas, in 1943 and is still owned and operated by the Douglas family to this day. In 2005, David and Janice Douglas recognized a need in the residential market to have a seperate business dedicated to the residential client, offering unsurpassed workmanship and service.

When establishing Sherwin Electrical Services LLC, we knew we had to establish very high standards in order to separate our business from the everyday electrical contractors, so we put in extra time and research to determine what the customers want and expect from their contractors. We feel we have achieved this goal, however we continue to strive to improve and elevate our standards daily.

The Owners
David Douglas has been in the family business for over 35 years. Janice Douglas has many years of experience in customer service and business operations.

Charities We Support

Warm Hands and Full Hearts Food National Challenge

Sherwin Electrical Services LLC and "Warm Hands, Full Hearts" food drive is teaming up again with the Central Virginia Food bank to fight against hunger in our community.

With so many people being laid off from their jobs today, the need for help is even greater. The Central Virginia Food Bank plays a very important role in our community by distributing more than 49,000 pounds of food and grocery products every day to feed:

• Children in low-income, at risk environments
• Senior citizens on fixed incomes
• Working poor families
• Homebound and disabled individuals
• Disaster victims
• And many others who are in crisis

Please join us by donating 5 items to the "Warm Hands, Full Hearts" program, and to show our appreciation of your generosity Sherwin Electrical Services will give you a $25.00 discount off services provided.

Working together the food bank will ge the much needed support and you will receive our guaranteed exceptional service.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure - Richmond
Sherwin Electrical Services has been a proud supporter of the Richmond Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure since 2006. Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer. In 1982 that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement. Sherwin Electrical Services has donated 10% of every service call during the month of October in the customers' name to the Richmond Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Each year our generous customers have helped us raise more and more money for this worthy cause. The Richmond Affiliate has raised over $2.6 million since 1998, with 75% of the money raised staying in the community of Central Virginia.
